Several Marina's have been found to report depths that are up to 50% deeper than the actual depths.
Call ahead and ask where, in the marina is it actually that deep, Often it is only at the fuel dock and the approach to the fuel dock, but not at
all the slips.
Depths should be
recorded at the 577.5 ft. above sea level or at least offset for the datum.

Ramp Locations
The
Door County Park
landings at Frank E. Murphy Park, Sugar Creek Park and Lily Bay County Park are closed when water levels less than 579.5 feet
above sea level.
Potawatomi
State Park boat ramp remains open, but is almost useless at the 579.5 water
level. See boating Guide to America below for really nice new Door County
Harbors with ramps.
The boat ramps at Sunset and Sawyer Park in
the city of Sturgeon Bay are just fine. The $5 city charge, covers putting
it in and taking it out. Parking is free and allowed over night. Many
sailors leave trailers up to two weeks with no parking charge in the city
ramp parking lots. You are not
be allowed to leave a boat in the parking lot without a car attached to it.
