Serendipity's Southern Chili Con Carne
(Easy on the tummy)
Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef 1 onion, chopped 2 tsp. oil - Olive or Canola 1 tsp. chili powder 1 cup tomatoes ½ tsp. paprika ½ tsp. salt

1 cup water 1 can chili beans 1 tbsp. flour 1 spear celery, diced ¼ green pepper, chopped 1 tsp. ground red pepper garlic to taste |
1. Saute onions, green peppers and celery. 2. Add liquids and beans. 3. Add spices. 4. Separately saute ground meat, add to mixture. 5. Simmer for a few hours. 6. Serve with crackers and grated cheddar cheese. |
