A Vessel Safety Check helps ensure your boat and its equipment comply with federal, state and local safety requirements.  This is a free public service provided by members of our squadron who have completed their Vessel Safety Examiner certification.  During the Vessel Safety Check, the vessel examiner discusses the purpose of your marine safety equipment and how it applies to federal, state and local regulations.  The purpose of the Vessel Safety Check program is to help ensure your craft is safe and to add to your boating enjoyment.
