Well, Halloween is behind us and the Holidays are quickly approaching. First, we overload on turkey and then it's time for sugarplums and fruitcake! Whew!
Speaking of Halloween, our participation in the Haunting at the Mohave Crossing Event Center was a lot of fun. The Mohave Valley Fire Department put on a great Haunted House on the main floor, and on the upper mezzanine, space was given for businesses and clubs to share their information, etc. as well as hand out candy to the children. And, hand out candy we did! John Militello had to do a 'candy run' half way through the evening.

Sharon Dack(L) and Eileen TruemanOur members dressed for the occasion and shared our boating brochures with the adults and gave out boating activity/color books to the little ones. This was the first time the event was held in this location, but definitely won't be the last one. The firefighters were already talking about next year. A great success!
