Through this on-water and on-land service activity, the Ocean City Power Squadron assists the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to produce accurate and up-to-date nautical and aeronautical charts of the local area. Our members gather up-to-date information (such as water depths, changes in navigational aids, on the water visible landmarks, and/or Geodetic Survey markers) which is forwarded to NOAA for processing and chart revision. |
