The Palisades of the Hudson
Palisades Power Squadron was formed in 1948 having been "spun off" from Northern New Jersey Power Squadron / New York Power Squadron.
In the past we have conducted our "Public Boating" classes in schools throughout the Bergen and Passaic county areas in Northern New Jersey. Our membership and activities are concentrated in eastern Bergen County in the shadow of the George Washington Bridge. Most of our boating is done on the Hudson and East Rivers, Long Island Sound, New York Harbor, the Atlantic Ocean and the many rivers and streams in the New Jersey/New York area. Many of our members also do their boating along the New Jersey coast.
We are an active squadron engaged in all manner of nautical and social activities.
