- Control Panel, then double clicking
- System and Security,
then double clicking
- System
- In the window that opens, look under the System area, and then look at the System Type to find the 32/64 bit architecture of your Windows system.
For Windows 8, you can get the information you need by going to the Windows button/menu (lower left hand corner of the screen) and selecting:
- Search (the magnifier glass icon), then typing the words
- Control Panel, and selecting the Control Panel line in the search results, then double clicking
- System
- In the window that opens, look under the System area, and then look at the System Type to find the 32/64 bit architecture of your Windows system.
For Windows XP, go to the Start button/menu (lower left hand corner of the screen) and select:
- Control Panel, then double click
- System, then click
- the General tab in the System Properties window that opens. If there is NO mention of 64 bit Windows XP, then your system is 32 bit Windows XP. The majority of XP systems are 32 bit.
For Apple OSX, click the Apple icon at the top left of the screen. Click About This Mac, then System Report. If the Processor Name is Intel Core 2 Duo or higher, the system is a 64 bit system. Most Mac systems (since late 2008) are 64 bit.
You will find all the information you need to answer the 32/64 bit question on the N15 Software Help Form.
