Using htpassword |
|
To setup a password protected directory, you must know how to use telnet to connect to the ITCom system system. You must change directory to your desired password protected directory, then use the htpassword command, passing in the user names you want to have access. Create a password file with htpassword. The usage is: /usr/local/apache/bin/htpasswd [-cm] passwordfile username The -c flag creates a new file is one does not exist. |
