Boating Courses

Wilmington Power Squadron offers several courses to children and adults on boating safety. THE BOATING COURSE is an excellent way to become acquainted with the broad aspects of safety, small boat handling, use of navigational aids, basic charting/plotting, piloting skills and equipment needs. Passing this course meets all states requirements for certification.

Also a short course of the above is available, called BOAT SMART, in addition to courses for Personal Watercraft and BOATING SAFELY, a course for children.
