C-Map offers Club Discounts to Members. As part of a Memorandum of Understanding signed between C/C Les Johnson and Ken Cirillo, GM of C-MAP/USA, USPS members will receive discounted membership in the popular Club C-MAP. This is a solid member benefit.

C-MAP is a leading producer of vector digital charts used in chart plotters. These charts are delivered as removable chips that are designed into a wide array of chart plotter brands. Membership in the Club entitles you to one free chart chip update each year in addition to discounts on a host of club partner products. A Club newsletter is sent out regularly to announce special deals. Normally *$89 per year, the club fee for a USPS® member is *$79 per year – a real bargain to assure that every year you have the latest charts plus other benefits. To get an annual club subscription, call C-MAP’s Customer Care department at 1.800.424.2627, indicate to them you are an active member and give them your membership number.

C-MAP offers Dealer Discounts to Squadrons. Under the signed MOU, Squadron will receive dealer prices on C-MAP products. Many of those with chart plotters will recognize the brand as a leader in digital cartography. The entire line of C-MAP products is included in this agreement including chart chips, their new software – PC Planner and their latest product the GeoSat2 portable Car Navigation system. The chips come in three levels based on coverage. You can find the coverage areas on the C-Map web site (www.c-map.com). PC Planner allows users to plan routes and waypoints at home using their chart chips and a computer. By using a recordable chip, you can transfer the plans between the computer and your compatible chart plotter.

The discount offered to squadrons range from 20% for accessory products to 25% off MSRP for chart products. Each Squadron Commander can designate one individual to be the C-Map contact for orders. Each order will require the squadron number and a credit card.  Squadrons are free to offer these products to members or students at a discounted price they determine. There are no minimums per order. This provides great incentive for membership in USPS.

NOTICE: "Maptech has been sold with the printed charts continuing as Richardsons'-Maptech. The 15% discount for USPS members on all guides and chart products will still be available. In fact, it is expected that the discount program will increase over time to include other products. However, during this transition process, the Richardsons' - Maptech web site is being reworked but is expected to be up and running soon. Please check back with us later."
