Dual Bays Cruise 2017
This summer's Great Blue Hill Sail & Power Squadron cruise is scheduled for Thursday August 10 through Wednesday August 16, 2017. Join us! A flotilla of sail and power boats will cruise from Hadley Harbor down to Jamestown and Wickford and back up to Cuttyhunk with several great harbors on the way!
These are beautiful cruising grounds. Just a few miles offshore and in fairly sheltered waters (but watch out for winds against tides!), Buzzards Bay and Narragansett Bay offer picturesque yet sophisticated villages, fine dining, beaches, museums and attractions -- and some of the last wild vistas in Massachusetts.
Whether for the whole cruise or just a part of it, there's a place for everyone. Come on your own boat or charter -- or, crew on someone else's for all or part of the week.
Itinerary
The cruise begins in Hadley Harbor Thursday August 10, on moorings and/or rafting, with departure to Padanaram Harbor Friday morning, Jamestown RI for 2 nights, followed by Bristol RI, Wickford RI, and Cuttyhunk.
Registration and Float Plan
Please let us know your interest ASAP, even if you need to confirm later. We'll put you on a list for updates as they come available. Especially, tell us if you wish to crew or can offer a berth. Register and let us know your harbor choices (file our Float Plan) even if you are coming only for the day or an event -- it helps us plan the activities.
The Dual Bays Cruise is open to all USPS members, from any squadron. Others interested in participating should call for information.

The itinerary is posted now, together with details of harbor amenities: anchorage, moorings, slips, and services. Several group events are planned. "Port Captains" are adding to harbor information, which we will post as available. We can always use more volunteers. Just give a call to help out.
