ABC Course

PUBLIC BOATING COURSES OFFERED
                          Mansfield, OH

The America's Boating Course (ABC) meets the educational requirements for the State of Ohio.  

The America's Boating Course (ABC) will be taught by a certified instructors of the Mansfield Power Squadron.

Saturday, June 1, 2024:

This is a one day all day course.

7:45 to 4:30. Bay Point Yacht Club 11050 E Bayshore Road, Marblehead OH. Registration: Call Dan Fortman at 419-566-0719

Tuesdays  September 10 2024: for 8 to 10 weeks from 7-9 pm at Pioneer Career and Technology Center, 27 Ryan Road, Shelby, OH.

Seminars

The USPS has added an exciting element to the types of educational classes our squadron can offer--the USPS Seminars. These seminars are available both to our membership as well as to the public. There are a variety of separate seminars, each running about 2 hours long, in addition to a mini-course. Each topic can be completed in a single session. Seminar Chair Dennis Figley, along with other members of the educational team, have been busily working on ways to develop these seminars to best fit our membership as well an additional tool for public boating education. We now have the capability to offer additional learning opportunities on a variety of boating-related subjects in a convenient learning format to provide even more approaches to promote safe boating through education.
