ABC-3, America's Boating Course
Middletown Power Squadron is offering a course on the
following Tuesdays in 2016:
3/08 Session 1
3/15 Session 2
3/22
Session 3
3/29 Session 4
4/12
Exams (Final Class and Test)
An optional two sessions on navigational charts will be offered following the final session.
Note: That there is no class on
4/05. The class will be held in the Buck Room at the
Buck-Foreman Community Center, 265 Main Street,
Portland, CT 06480. Classes will start at 7:00 PM and
last about two hours.
Successful completion of this course qualifies the student to apply for the state required SAFE Boating Certificate. The cost for course materials, including text, exam fee, course plotter and dividers is $76. The cost for the text material alone is $65. Application forms are available on the Squadron website
